I’ve been thinking…
And I was this close to giving into my usual “I want it so I’m going to get it” habit. But, it would have been to risky and silly and selfish and presumptuous of me to do such a thing. Sticking to how things are now is probably safer. That way, I can have my cake and eat it too. I know this is way too cryptic for anyone to relate to, but I guess it applies to everything. It’s all about timing. Jumping into things too quickly even though you know it’s not the right time, just because you’re too impatient to wait for the right time would probably be real unproductive.
Isn’t that the truth; timing is so important. It’s hard to know when to push forward and when to hold back in a new relationship. You want them to know you care and that your interested, but you know if you push too hard, too fast, you may scare them away.
