Today is my me-time and therefore I’ve been incommunicado (except I’m not technically really seeing as I’m still writing here).

I discovered one of the most ingenious websites in the realm of fashion/the giant international phenomenon that is street style photography (I just read the previous sentence again and I am aware that it didn’t really make sense)…

Anyways, the site is lookbook.nu

It’s like style.com’s lookbook feature, only you select the looks from thousands of photos of real people’s outfits. It’s where fashion fiends go to self-indulge, feed each other’s (and their own) egos, and be inspired for days.

It must be pretty chockers seeing as it’s “invites only”.

Now, if only I can find a connection to get me into the TFS forums, I’m happy to just be a lurker for now but sometimes it’s a bit annoying when I stumble upon a topic that I really wanna comment on. Meh.

Isn’t it odd how some things remain dormant and at the most unexpected moments, BAM! You just get a massive serving of where-the-fuck-did-that-come-from(?).

All my seasons just changed at once. This is how it feels.

Last night I had a dream…

That I was Sasha Pivovarova, Queen of the Land of Cream-Your-Pants-Hotness.

Also, last night, a truck wrapped itself around a telegraph pole on the highway, about a hundred metres down the road from my house. They had to remove the pole and replace it, and whilst digging, they must have accidentally crack open a water pipe. So the highway was flooded like a mofo and traffic was trapped for hours. We’re in drought mode and that’s what they had to go and do. Good one.

It’s twenty past one in the morning. I just ate the last of my current sweet-tooth obsession, a pink cupcake that I bought from work. Even though I should be in bed seeing as I have to get up for work in five hours, I chose to wander around the internet to compose this collage to sum up my day.

I’ve been waiting for all the photos of last weekend from various photo-taking punters to be up before I post them here. So here goes:

The chains were pretty much choking me by the end of the night. It took me ten minutes once I got home to remove them all. I just really wanted to go to sleep.

I received a comment on ModelMayhem last night from someone, and when I looked at his profile, I thought I recognised the model in the avatar. Then I swear I’d heard of the name before, Benjamin McKenzie. Then when I read the rest of the profile, it clicked- he was on Australian Idol last year! He was the 17-year-old kid that had a really soft/raspy/amazing voice that sang Mad World, remember? Anyways, I just thought that was a bit of a coincidence, it’s such a small world hey?

Oh and I remember the judges openly telling this then 16-year-old kid he was ugly and wouldn’t make it in the entertainment industry, “in a nice way”. Anyways his photography’s got heaps of potential and the judges/audience had no idea what they were on about because he’s anything but ugly (as in his photos look amazing, not as in I’d like me a piece of that, gosh, mind in the gutter much?).
